WESSEL NIJMAN

Wessel Nijman has already made his mark on the PDC tour and is one of the sport’s hottest prospects. The Dutchman won his first PDC tour card via the Development Tour at the end of 2023, and joined the rest of the professionals on the ProTour the following year. He caught the eye with a run to the final of Players Championship 15, narrowly losing out 8-6  to another top young talent Luke Littler. The duo also faced off on the stage at the Baltic Sea Darts Open in May 2024, where Nijman prevailed 6-3.

Nijman has already enjoyed a trophy-laden youth career, winning gold medals at the WDF World and Europe Youth Cups, alongside several other titles. After winning two Development Tour titles in 2018 and 2020, he was back in the winners’ enclosure with three more Development Tour event wins in 2023. A breakthrough 2024 season has seen him claim even more Development Tour titles to take his total haul up into double figures.

In October 2024, Nijman opened his PDC senior title account by winning Players Championship 24, defeating Stephen Bunting 8-5 in the final to clinch his maiden ProTour victory. The 2025 season saw Nijman make his debuts in major tournaments including the World Matchplay and World Grand Prix, as well as pocketing another pair of Players Championship titles on the floor. After winning his fourth Players Championship title in February 2026, Nijman continued his progression with a first European Tour success, beating Gerwyn Price 8-3 in the final of the European Darts Trophy.

The darts Wessel Nijman currently uses are his signature Mission Wessel Nijman Steel Tip Darts. These darts feature a high grade 95% tungsten barrel with a bull nose. The straight barrel design showcases a mixture of radial grooves highlighted by black, white and red painted rings.

Nijman’s first set of darts from Mission are available in steel tip (23g and 25g) and soft tip (18g) and would work well for players who prefer a standard level of grip, with these darts rated 5/10 for grip level, making them versatile and suitable for all grip types.

This collection also includes the Cosmo Wessel Nijman Fit Flights, the dart flight of choice for Nijman. These flights have been designed in conjunction with the Dutchman and can only be used with Cosmo Fit Shafts. Cosmo’s ‘Fit System’ aims to make it easier to attach the flight to the shaft with a secure locking system, that also gives players extra stability during play
