Ricardo Pietreczko's darts career took off in October 2023 when he won the German Darts Championship. It was the German's first PDC ranking title and included impressive wins against former world champions Stephen Bunting, Michael van Gerwen and Peter Wright.

The man nicknamed 'Pikachu' won his PDC tour card at European Q-School at the start of 2022 and broke into the world's top 64 in September 2023.
