Why are they so popular?

Soft tip darts will often weigh less than a set of steel tip darts because you are throwing with a plastic-tipped dart and at a dartboard made of plastic materials. Our soft tip range starts from 14g and the heaviest soft tip darts we stock are 25g, with darts 19g in weight considered a favourable choice being around the middle of this range.

How to use Soft Tip Darts

Soft tip darts are used on a soft tip dartboard and are a safer and more family friendly option for a fun game of darts. A set of soft tip 19 gram darts or in other weights come with a flexible plastic tip that you throw at a soft tip board, which is crafted from robust plastic materials with pre-moulded holes.

A soft tip dart can also be used on a regular dart board made of Sisal. The soft tip points will also cause less damage to the board than a steel tip dart, which has a sharp point made of steel. Darts Corner stocks a large range of 19g steel tip darts that are suitable for bristle dartboards.
