Shipping & Returns

For the majority of orders we use standard first class Royal Mail post. This is due to the relative lightweight products we sell. For larger or heavy orders we may use alternative courier services that may require a signature on receipt. The majority of orders leave us within 24 hours. This may slightly vary during the peak season (October-February).
Orders placed in January may be subject to a further delay of up to 48 hours as this is generally the busiest month of the year. Customers should be aware of this when placing orders using standard delivery methods.
If you have chosen an additional postage option, e.g. Special Delivery, we take every effort to ensure your items leave within 24 hours. However, during the busy season, this guarantee has to be extended to within 48 hours. Please note that for delivery purposes - items are for Monday-Friday only. Items purchased over a weekend, or Friday after 3pm, will leave on Monday. 
Royal Mail Standard Parcels will leave by the most appropriate courier service but will only be on an economy service that may take 2-3 days.

Orders for delivery by courier are for Monday-Friday and are sent out by us on a next day delivery service. The majority of parcels do arrive next day, however, some parcels may take a day longer as we are dependent upon the couriers, and on occasion there may be a delay. Customers must be aware of this and accept this when placing an order for courier delivery. Customers must also be aware that courier deliveries are from 8am-5-30pm and it is the customers responsibility to ensure someone is in to sign for the goods, as any items returned to us will be charged £7 for a redelivery.
Orders placed after 12.30pm are not guaranteed for next day, particularly during the busy season. These will be sent the following day on a next day service.
Orders placed on Friday PM and over the weekend will be sent out on Monday on a next day service.

Any orders that choose our Fast Track Service will be guaranteed to leave us within the timeframe specified. If ordered before 3pm (Monday-Friday) then the order will leave us the same day. Customers must enter their full details online, in order that any queries can be dealt with as soon as possible. Any orders placed on Friday PM or over the weekend will leave us on Monday.
Fast Track service does not guarantee next day delivery - only that the order will be sent by us into the postal system, via your chosen delivery method. Any customer requiring next day delivery must select Special Delivery.

Any customer choosing Special Delivery is sent generally by Royal Mail, where they claim that all orders reach the stated destination before 1pm the following day.  As we are dependent on their services, Darts Corner cannot be held responsible for if the parcel does not arrive next day. Orders placed before 3pm will leave the same day, and if placed on Friday, the parcel will be delivered on Monday before 1pm. Special Delivery service does not include Saturdays.

We do our utmost to complete all orders fully and may from time to time substitute an out of stock product with a similar item or duplicate items already purchased to avoid any delays in shipping. If the darts you have ordered are out of stock - we will notify you and give you an estimated time of when they are due in. 

Please note that the shipping costs provided by the site must be regarded as an estimate and should the item cost considerably more, we reserve the right to withhold the order, and notify you of the expected delivery cost. This will then be billed separately.

When we ship to countries outside of the UK - we do not charge our local tax (VAT).
However, you are liable to pay any local import duties when taking receipt of the delivery. 

Certain restrictions will apply to our postage costs. We cannot offer our unique flat rate to non-mainland addresses for any heavy or large items as the costs of sending via courier are high. For these orders we will inform customers prior to sending.

Northern Ireland (BT Postcodes)
Islands and Scottish Highlands: (restricted postcodes:)
AB31-56, FK19-21, HS, IV, KA27-28, KW, PA20 and above, PH, ZE, including all addresses within the Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, and Isles of Scilly.
All the above postcodes will be subject to an estimated £10 delivery fee.

If you are ordering goods for a particular holiday departure date or as a gift for a birthday etc, please inform us so we can make every effort to meet this deadline. Please note, to guarantee pre-Christmas delivery we require you to order before 18th December.

Orders that include personalised items will not be despatched until the personalised items are finished, unless by prior arrangement. Personalised items can take an additional 2-4 days to complete, and occasionally slightly longer during the busy season (Oct-Feb).

Any personalised item(s) (flights, shafts, surrounds, clothing etc) cannot be returned for a refund or exchange. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Any items which are returned for refund or exchange must be received back at our mail order department within 14 days in a new and unused condition and with original packing intact, along with any receipts.

We strongly recommend you use a recorded/insured delivery service as we regret that we cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit. Please note that if you require goods to be sent out in exchange, we do make a further carriage charge. For exchanging large or heavy items the carriage charge will be £7. All darts sent back for a refund will incur a £2 administration fee, with all other items incurring a 20% administration fee.
Any refund will be made in the tender type originally transacted.
