Annoying 'Click Noises' when using Internet Explorer
We have introduced some fancy rotating banners to our site which enables customers to see a range of products from us.
Users of Internet Explorer and using Speakers may find a ‘clicking sound’ as they browse our site. This is an annoying feature of Internet Explorer that Microsoft introduced some versions ago.
Please find a solution below to resolve this issue.
Our preferred browser is Firefox, which is a quality Internet Browser which we feel is quicker and more secure than Internet Explorer. Best of all – it’s free. You can find and download here:
http://www.mozilla-europe.org/en/products/firefox/
For Windows XP
Click on <Start> and then <Control Panel>, then double click on <Sounds and Audio Devices>, then click on the tab <Sounds>.
Scroll down to [Windows Explorer] and then change the sound on [Start Navigation] to none.
Click <OK> and all should be sorted.
For Windows Vista
Click on <Start> and then <Control Panel>, then double click on <Sound>, then click on the tab <Sounds>.
Scroll down to [Windows Explorer] and then change the sound on [Start Navigation] to none.
Click <OK> and all should be sorted.
Hope this helps you to have a pleasant browsing experience with us.
Thanks
